2.5 HP 4-Stroke

I would appreciate any advice to help trouble shoot. 2005, hard to start when warm (requires running with choke partially on) and sometimes it is very difficult to start when cold. I have tried running it dry after use, leaving it tilted up, down in the water.....waving a chicken foot at it - you name it. I condition my fuel too with sta-bil. Is the issue in the carb/jet? Thanks!

i had this problem just clean out all of the jets and it should be fine. Hope this helps

Thanks - I will do that this weekend. Any thoughts on better filters to prevent this in the future? Would also appreciate advice on best practices for cleaning the jets.

I used injector cleaners. But a thin copper wire should work and give them a good blow.
