Fuel Filter 6P3-WS24A-00

I notice this filter has superseded the original filters on most newer model outboards. When you open the box there is a piece of paper that states this filter to be used on models with a "6P3" mark on them. The pic looks like they are talking about the filter assy. The dealer just gave me the new filter. Any one have any amplifying info on this one? Thanks!

Part number 6P3-24563-00-00 supersedes to 6P3-WS24A-00-00. Which is for the newer four stroke and HPDI models and the filter housing will have a 6P3 number on it.
