gas/oil ratio?

I just bought a 1987 2 hp yamaha model 2sh 2 stroke. Their is a sticker on the engine indicating a 100/1 fuel oil ratio? Being used to a 50/1 ratio, i'm a little nervous about this lean oil ratio. Is this ok, or would you mix a little more oil? thanks
