3 wires off a 703 con*****er

hi on my control box 3 wires come out as a short loom . 1 is yellow 1 is green and 1 black can anyone identify for me please ???

Yellow is for accessories that are 12v powered with the ignition ON. Black is common Ground. Green is a Tach feed if I remember correctly.

I just connected my 703 con*****er that way to my Yamaha guage and the tach and hour meter work fine.
