F150 fuel filters

I'm having a problem getting the fuel filter bowls off on both my F150's. I dropped them before to clean them but they won't budge now.

I tried everything and if I try any harder I'm going to break something. Anyone had a similar problem? What did you do?

We are having problems with ethanol swelling up the cup. You can remove it and dump fuel out and let it sit overnight, most of the time it will unscrew then, once removed replace the cup.
