Engine Hours

Computer says 60 hrs on 2003 250 hpdi, how can i tell if thats new or rebuilt time?

That is running hours stored in engine ECU. If it has been rebuilt, the repair order may have hours recorded on it.

What is happening is I'am looking at the 2003 engine and the computer readout shows 60 hrs with the breakdown of the rpms ranges, I just want to verify that is 60 total hours since new.
