1993 yamaha 200's alram going off

Hey everyone... thank god for this site..
Am having a problem with my outboards.. i have twin 200's
they are running fine but just recently everytime i pass about 2500rpms an alarm goes off.. just a steady beap not intermitent... sometimes on 1 or both engines so i have to slow down and turn off the ignition and then start it back up and its fine...
sometimes it does it sometimes it dosent... lately its been doing it alot.. it never does it when your going say 1500 rpms only when i gas it it starts beeping.. What can it be.??

i have the oil pumps still connected everyone has told me to disconnect those and mix the oil and gas myself so ill be doing that this weekned...

Any ideas as to what it is???

If you have Yamaha gauges with warning indicator lights look to see if overheat or oil warning lights are activated and which engine is activating alarm.
Check the engine oil tank oil level, if drops to lower line on tank it activates alarm.
May need to replace water pump.

i think it might be that... the oil tanks inside the engines are low... ill check today...
