Yamaha tachometer Number 6Y5-2818R-32

I everybody this is my first post.
I have a Yamaha tachometer Number 6Y5-2818R-32, on a Two stroke outboard 50 GETOL. The tachometer wasn’t work correctly, let me explain:
The engine trim angle don’t appears on LCD, only appear a single mark on the bottom. I already had test the trim sensor in another Tachometer and it works perfectly ! What should I do?

Not familiar with your model motor but dip switch in back of tach may be set wrong. The tach has three dip switches, the first switch is for trim sender try moving switch up or down.

I made what you said, I moved the first switch and it works perfectly !!!
