Guys, motor ran great with no issues till I started a winter project to add a new console with new gauges (tach, voltage. etc). Have successfully installed tach and battery indicator gauge. Went to turn over the engine to see that all was well and suddenly nothing. Trim/tilt works fine, when I turn the key, the tach lights up as well at the battery indicator (which does indicate a good charge.. I have a charger hooked up). I checked the main fuse in back, that is good. I did go into the 703 control box to see if the trim/tilt signal wire was hiding in there. I had it disassembled but couldn't find the wire. I'm pretty sure I put everything back together correctly as forward-reverse-and neutral seem to be engaging. It is in neutral when I try to get it to turn over. To troubleshoot, I unhooked the neutral switch and bypassed it. Fired right up....So, I replaced the neutral switch with a new one. Went to turn it over...nothing. Any ideas on where to concentrate on now? Thanks,
    Chris

The neutral switch in the 703 is extremely easy to break when putting control box halves back together, make sure to route wires so they are not on top of switch.
