low pressure pumps

'99 Yamaha 200 OX66, Have had several issues w/ low pressure pumps. Read several posts about electric fuel pumps and blocking ports while removing low pressure pumps. Can the same thing be done to an OX66? If so what is the best pump... pressure and route?

personally i wouldnt try to out-engineer Yamaha.

I have the same motors and have only had to replace 1 lp pump in 7 yrs.
