I attempted to switch the speed gauge to readout knots (by flipping the dip switches) but because the manual is so unclear and confusing it took me several tries to get it 'right'. I think I put dips 3 and 4 in the correct position for knots (from what I could deduce from the F150 Users manual) but I was also switching 1 and 2. The manual states that the dips also do something with the fuel sending unit. I noticed that after the switching that my fuel tank indicator read higher after I ran the boat around for an hour. Very strange. Does anyone know what the default/proper dip switch settings are?

The setting for knots and usa fuel sender is
first 3 dip switches down and last one in up position.

Down is left and up is right?

My dip switches (if I recall correctly) are mounted in an almost vetical fashion (the manual shows them at a 45 degree angle top left to bottom right). Would down correspond to left and up to right?
