Check for 12 volts between yellow and black wires at tach with key on.

2004 115 TLRC install- new member
Got power at Tach. Finally got it figured out. Apparently to make the Multi function -090 tach work on a 2004 115 TLRC with the adapter, the gray jumper on the adapter has to be disconnected.
The gray jumper is not a bullet connector on the grey wire, it's a jumper between the grey and the green white....(i think that's right, I tested continuity and it does not flow through, so I unraveled the black tape insulation to find these jumpers.)
From what I understand the -81-82 tach with the 68f harness is a better fit.
Splashing on Saturday, looking forward to burning Yamaha gas!
