Trim Gage

I just recently purchased a 3-wire Yamaha trim gage from you. The trim sender and indicator lamp wires are self explanatory and I am sure the black wire connects to the common negative buss under the dash. My question is what does the yellow wire connect to. Does it connect to the auxilliary positive connection on the ignition switch?

Steve, I'm no expert, nor did I sleep in a Holiday In Express last night.

However, I recently rigged a Yamaha for the first time. Yellow indicated key switched 12v positive (hot with ignition key on).
