I Have A 21' Center Consol. The Ride To Open Water Is About A 20min Ride Fighting Current In A No Wake Zone. Which Is A Gas Gussler With The Transom Stuck In The Water. I Was Told That Adding A Hydrofoil To The 150hp Outboard Would Help Get Lift On The Transom. So I Did It (a Stingray Sport 300) Which Really Didn't Make Any Noticible Difference. I Have Been Considering Adding The Automatic (shock Type) Trip Tabs To The Transome But Not Sure If It's Worth The $. Or If Would Help. Or Do I Need The Electric Ones. Anybody That Can Help Or Have Tried The Upgrade And Got Results

youre in a no wake zone, you cant run anyway.

all tabs do is create drag, if you dont mind losing a lil speed you can look into it, but usually you can adjust bow height with trim.
