Install a dual battery switch and second battery, follow wiring instructions that come with battery switch.

The second battery needs to be a deep cycle to run all the electronics etc and its is not set up to drain anything out of the starting battery as this is for starting the motor only !!and isolated from the house circuitry
Charging - the start battery gets priority and once nearly fully charged auto switch's to the deep cycle .
Sound complicated but saves a lot of heart ache and that nagging thought thought "will the motor start" !
Some where theres need to be able to coupled for that rare occasion of a flat house battery and the need for the vhf for help situation .
This is a common set up and has been well thought out just need to get the right switching to do the job !

Don't know if you have given things much thought but the physical size along with its capacity to be able to handle everything and more , plus its physical size and weight .
Plan it out ,get loads of info and then make your own choice !
