stator test

friends i would like to know what is the test to know is the stator is working good? i have a 175 hp 1990 and the meter test in the batery indicated charged 13.0- 13.2 thats is good charging system? i dont know i think i need 13.5-13.9 volts for good charging systems thanks for your help...
