  • Multigauge or individual gauges for Yamaha new 150 4 cycle?

If I'm using a center console on a 22 ft boat with a new 2009 150 Yamaha 4 cycle, what is the best application for best gauge set up. I like a lot of info from the engine. I may want some gauges also in the tower helm. What provides the best results for two stations. Do you put in one multigauge in the lower helm and than single gauges in the tower or one multigauge in each station???? What is the top of line set up???

The Yamaha Command Link gauges give the best engine information, you can read up on them at http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard...nk/page01.aspx
They are available in kits and I can help with a list of parts needed for installation with a little information from you.
The Yamaha Multifunction Gauge set are next best option.

    1. What gauge package would you like on lower station? You can use a 1, 2 or 3 gauge set.
Tach(1 gauge set) you will need, Speedometer(2 gauge set) and fuel management(3 gauge set) are optional(you can also use the speedo/fuel combo set which combines speedo and fuel management information in speedo)

    2. What gauge package would you like on upper staion? choices are same as above.

    3. Are you using the Yamaha Dual Station kit(6X1-W0006-20-00) for upper station? Does it have Yamaha controls and Yamaha key switch on lower station?

    4. What length wire harness would you need to go between transom and lower station key switch?

    5. What length wire would you need to go between lower station and upper station?
