It all depends on your boat and motor. I have a 1987 20c mako with a 200 hpdi with a 14 1/4in prop with pitch of 17 it runs around 45 mph at 5500 RPMs. The RPMs is what you want to try and match try and get somewhere close to 5500 rpms. go to this sit it will tell you the prop size you need. I actually want to have a slower planing speed so its not so hard to control in rough seas. I am looking for a 14 in by 15 pitch 4 blade. Oh yeah my outboard is Left handed just in case someone has one on hand.
