water tube going into water pump rotted

hello just changed the water pump on my f 225 2003 when i checked the water tube the end going into the pump was rotted about a half inch just wondering how to change the tube my manual doesant cover that looking for ideas

the only way to replace this tube is to take the power head off, and to take apart the mid section, and you will have access to this tube.

thanks for the advice frenchy the rest of the tube seems fine filed the rough edges it loks like it goes in the pump about a inch and a half i think it might work ok? i will order a teck manual thats more detaild

i temporary fixed one once with jb weld, just time to order and recieved the new tube, it worked fine .
