Battery cable replacement for 1998 150hp

I'm having trouble starting my 1998 150 (model S150TXRW). When I try to cold start the engine, it hesitates before starting to crank, and then takes several tries before starting. The battery cables are warm to the touch, so I'd like to eliminate them as a source of the problem. Can anyone tell me the Yamaha replacement part number or the correct wire gauge for these cables?
