How to test resistor in spark plug wire

2003 SX200TXRB (OX66)
I was told that there is a resistor that should be tested in the plug boot. I have a service manual but can't seem to find anything on it.
If it does need to be tested, can anyone provide some guidance on how to do the test.

Unscrew it from plug wire and test with ohm meter, should be about 5 ohm's.
