Converting a 60 to a 70hp??

I have a 1999 C60 on a 17'6" G3 Pro175 and was told that if I change the carbs I can convert it to a 70hp. Is this true, or even worth what it would cost and would it get much more speed out what I have now, which is 32.6GPS? I am guessing that carbs to do this would be expensive.
