Need to replace my speedometer (6Y5-83500-A0-00) and they don't manufacture it anymore. What wire harness do I need and what is the replacement gauge that I can use?

You can use 6Y5-83570-S5-00 speedo, it the same except for the overheat indicator light. The overheat indicator is in the Tach's now not the speedo. -
Great. I live overseas and I need to make sure that all is well with parts. Luckily I have a decent yamaha dealer. My next problem would have to be that they have a replacement tach and that makes me ask if that model, 6Y5-83500-00-00, has a temp reading. If not what is the replacement to get me up to date so all is well and I can take the old girl out and feel comfortable?Comment

That would require replacing the tach and which tach would depend on what year and model motor you have.Comment
