Can't find where the PCV is on my F225

Hi,

I have a 2005 F225 and have a brand new Pressure Control Valve (aka "poppit" valve) which I purchased from this sight. I also have the Yamaha Shop Manual but for the life of me, I can not locate where the PCV is. Per the manual, it is at the rear bottom of the power head but I can't see it. Is there a plate or something covering it? Thank-you in advance for your help.

Thanks but the above shows the poppit (PCV) valve on a HPDI engine.

Mine is a F225. Any other advice as to it's location and maybe removal, re-installation tips?

just found mine. remove lower panel, either side but easier to see if you remove both. inside that rear housing you will find large (1 7/16") plastic plug (pcv) with a 10mm lock bolt. undo the lock, remove pcv. sweet. i took all the panels off just to get some grease on the bolts. happy hunting
