I am going to get an F60 to put on a 15-foot Whaler. Does anyone have any recommendations for controls and gauges?
From Yamaha's site, I like the look of the premium flush mount side control, but it's not clear it works for the F60. The 6X3 flush mount side control is another option. With flush mount side control, I might have to build a little box to contain it, or I could go with the 703 side control. Does the latter include a key switch? It looks like it might, but it's hard to tell from the picture.
For gauges, I was thinking about simply going with the multi-function tach. I'd like to get oil and water pressure too, but not sure they're worth the $$.
I'd appreciate any thoughts on the subject - thanks.
