yg600de Generator ?

I have a yg600de generator pre 1997 around 1992 and I lost the gray side piece that covers the oil filler and dipstick and it looks like it might of had some sort of filter on it as when it runs with out it it sprays a little oil out of it. My question is as I looked at the diagram there was a part called a Cap Cleaner Case and I don't know if that is the cover I need, it just snaps on and I guess the last time I checked the oil I didn't get it snapped back on there good and lost it going down the road as I have the generator mounted on the front of my trailer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
