Maybe I'm dreaming this, but I seem to remember that during the winter, Yamaha has a program that extends the warranty significantly - I think as a way to sell leftover motors. Does that ring any bells with anyone?

Yamaha runs promotions from time to time with extended warranty options. -
That's what I was thinking of - I'm sure they don't advertise that in advance, for obvious reasons, but does anyone have any insight into when that usually happens, and whether it is typically only on specific motors? Thanks.
