2000 175 VMAX Trim Indicator

Trim works but trim indicator on dash doesn't. Someone told me that the small plastic trim tab at lower part of the outboard may be broken. Can someone tell me where is that located? I can't find it to replace it. Understand a new tab is about $10.

tilt motor up, on port side look on tilt tube ...there will be a black cam/ring which activates the sensor....either cam is broken or sensor is seized.
