I want to put a new fuel pump on my 91/90hp yamaha.on the parts list it say,s fuel pump assy,are all the parts in this assy or kit all I need to replace what I have on the outboard now.and is there anything I need to know that real yamaha techs know what to do before the procedure and afterward. I only want to do this one time, the right way. thanks everyone Dan

I have a 90 like this. The pump kit is not expensive vs the parts to rebuild. I would go with a new pump kit. I think the whole thing was less that $40. That fuel pump has many small parts. Just did not make sense to me to fool with it.

Better off replacing fuel pump(692-24410-00-00) and gasket(650-24431-A0-00) as well.Comment
