Starting Problem

I have a 1995 225 V76 Saltwater Series ourboard that has trouble starting after I have been *****ing with my kicker. The motor will fire up when the boat is first launched, but after 2 to 3 hours of *****ing it can take up to 6 to 10 tries to get the motor running. The motor acts as if it is flooded, but I have turned the fuel off before the engine is turned off and this has not helped. Any ideas.

same tank for both motors ? sounds like youre losing prime.

Yes, same tank. I'll be sure to check the fuel bulb the next time I'm out.
