increasing h.p. on my 8h.p.

i presently own a 2001 8 h.p. yahama short shaft motor that i use on a 10.2 inflatable. it truly runs good but i would like to get a little more out of it without a motor overhaul.does re jetting work?? a prop change or re cupping?? any and all response will be appr. thank you.. all aboard.....
