I have a 150 yamaha 2 stroke (sx150txry) outboard on a 22 ft wellcraft w/a year 2000. I am in long island sound and the boat is on a rack and put into the water the days I need it. I bought the boat used last summer and had no problems with the engine and it ran great. It was winterized by the marina with gas saver and started right up this past May. I have used it about 12 times this summer and put gas into it several times. The prop was a little dented so I replaced it with a factory new one. Today when i was using it, It seemed fine going out of the harbor but when I throttled up the engine bogged up and down but never stalled. Everytime I tried to go past 2000 rpms it did this. I made it back to dock at 8-13 rpms without any weird sounds. The time I used it before today it did the same thing 1 or 2 times but ran fine at higher rpms the rest of the day and didnt think anything of it except it maybe was a glitch. I never had any service on it since i had it. Whats wrong?
