Today is Thursday. After running the boat all day on last Saturday and not having any problems I had a difficult time cranking my motor today. The motor finally cranked with heavy use of the choke. Once started, the motor would idle for varied times in neutral and most often stall. When the motor sounded good in neutral and I tried to drive the boat, it would not use the full rpm I gave it and would stall out when trying to throttle up and sometimes when changing out of neutral. Now, if I choked it before it stalled then it continue running... When I hit the choke and the motor was not using the full rpm then it would briefly use the full rpm (only a second or two). I have no idea what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Check fuel filters for water and trash. May have to remove and clean carbs. -

Thanks for your advice!! The motor is running like a champ. Only the fuel filter needed changing. I'll tell you what, when unscrewing the filter I took the nipple with it. Finally loosened it with a nut buster solution though and put onto the new filter. Glad the bracket still accepted the nipple. Thanks for you help!!Comment
