adding an alternator to 25hp Yamaha???

I have a 2003 that did not come with an alternator... can I add one? If so, where is a good source to get one reasonably?

You didn't list the model number. But most of Yamaha motors have an alternator. The manual start models dont come with a regulator. You can call us at Boats.Net and we can get you a reg kit.
