new to the Jet Ski world

Just bought a 2002 Yamaha Wave Runner and was told by some to mix my oil and gas 16oz oil to 4 gallons gas. But my ski has a seperate tank for oil so I am confused. Also after 3 trips to the lake now my oil light is flashing. I did not get a manual so am taking advice from other owners at this point.

The oil injection needs to be checked to make sure it's working properly, if it is working then you would not need to premix oil in gas. It is better to be safe than sorry so premixing is good until you know condition of oil injection system.
