I had some water in my fuel tank that was syphoned out. The yamaha tech was able to get me running for about a month fine after he cleaned all carbs and synced them up. Then one of the carbs froze and I couldn't even move the throttle cable. Took it back to the tech, and took for test run and the engine is coughing and spitting at idle and doesn't have enough power to get up on plane before it wants to die. When I pull the plug wire off the #1 cylinder the coughing stops. I checked compression and spark and all looks good. Is this a timing problem, or should I be looking at the carbs again?
