2000 60hp yamaha impeller

I replaced impeller and notice after about 30 sec water comes out of speedo and shift linkage holes when flushing with garden hose water also comes out of pee hole and prop ok not sure about speedo and shift holes is this normal

Thats definitely not normal. Check to make sure you reconnected the hose correctly when you re-installed the lower unit. Maybe it got cut. If not then the water pump housing is not sealed properly. The last thing you want is salt water flowing all over the top of your linkage.

when boat is in water these holes would be in salt water all the time around the shift rod linkage and speedo cable

Are you talking about water coming out of housing around shift rod and speedo hose(if so thats normal) or water coming out of hose?

yes water coming out around housing were water pump is located water coming out of shift linkage and speedo cable holes and slot towards front of motor thanks for all information

Water will come out all the holes when running on a hose, it's the exhaust water and nothing to worry about.
