90 hp outboard regulator

Anyone ever changed the voltage regulator on a 2001 Yamaha 90 2stroke?How much are they?

Not hard to replace, it's number 10 on parts list http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Ya...201/parts.html
Make sure this is correct model number(90TLRZ) before ordering parts.

I suppose it is the regulator that has failed. It charges at 14.2 volts for the first 10 minutes but then goes up to 16.2and flashes the high voltage on the dash guage
