Hi,

What steps do I take to replace the tilt/trim switch located on the remote? The local Yamaha dealer said it needed to be replaced but could not get it in the shop for 6 weeks so I decided to buy the part and try it myself. All assistance will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Remove handle to replace trim switch.

Thanks, I'm generally not that mechanically inclined. At 1st glance I don't see how the handle is removed. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Which control box do you have? 703 Side mount, 704 top mount or 6X0 side flush mount.
