Hi guys, quick question. I have a 2000 Yamaha OX66 (LX200) 200hp SWS2 that had dirty fuel. Entire system was cleaned (fuel tank,VST,all filters replaced twice). Starts and runs fine on hose and for about 3-7 minutes in water then motor simply dies and shuts off. Waiting less than 1 minute I can restart, and run another few minutes before it shuts down again.
Fuel is now clean and strange part is fuel cup doesn not empty as I assume it is simply running out of fuel and waiting a minute allows fuel to rebuild but why would cup be full? And why could I restart it so quickly after. Also primer bulb is firm at all times.
Could this instead be some sort of sensor or electrical issue verses me chasing fuel issue?? When the motor dies it shuts down completely and fully rather quick, no other warning or symptoms. thanks!
