I have a 2005 2 stroke 60hp TLRD and I want to upgrade to a larger 4 stroke. I would like one in the 90-150hp range. I assume that my steering and throttle cables will transfer fine, but what about my tach? Trim? Hour? and Oil guage/alarm?

If your gauges are Yamaha gauges then they will work but would have to be reset for 4 stroke engine.

Yamaha Guages
Yes it is a Yamaha guage. What does it take to reset it for a 4 stroke engine? I have the "multifunction tachomoter" with trim down the right, tach top center, temp and oil level across the bottom.Last edited by chief walkara; 06-11-2008, 11:03 PM.

Change the dip switch in back of tach to four stroke engine and 12 pole alternator. Set the three switches to up,down, up.
