Engine cuts out when idling--1987 200 yami

Hello,

I just had my mechanic rebuild and clean my carbs--When I got my boat back, i was runniing it at home with hose and when it hit 3000 rpm it would just rev-up to around 4500 on its own--Took it back to mechanic and he said he adjusted the floats which were sticking. Now i got the boat back and it dies when idling-- Mechanic said he adjusted the carb screws to spec (6 screws on my 3 carb engine)--sooo, i'm wondering if there is some other idling adjustment i can make to keep it running while idling..?? it runs perfect when rev-up beyond idle...

Any ideas would be a great help!!!

Your mechanical may need to recheck linkage sync and idle adjustment.
