Grettings,
I recently finished rigging my F9.9 MLHD with the remote control conversion kit and I am using the motor as a kicker. I installed the 704 Dual binnacle control box and premium cables to control the F9.9 and the main (F150) motor.
With the throttle control in full open position, I am only able to get approximately 1/3 throttle with the 9.9 (this was tested on the water with the engine running). The cable travel ends before the throttle actuator is at full open. There is an adjustment nut on the throttle acuator rod. Will this adjustment nut take up the slack or do I just need to make further adjustments to the throttle cable or both?
Thanks in advance
