prop question

I have a 2000 f100 - on my 1974 19' BW revenge
with a yamaha 17" pitch prop

It goes up on plane at 4000-4100 rpm then takes off get get rpm's up to 4900 5000

Is it sized right - should i go to a diffrent prop to get on plane quicker..if so what size...

The full throttle range for that motor is 5000-6000 rpm's. You probably need to drop to a smaller pitch prop.
