    5 people onmy dock have surging issues with ox 66 outboards all of different horse power does the ethenol have something todo with this....
    what does yamaha suggest that we add to the fuel if anything to corre ct these problems

    any certified help would be great

    10% ethanol or less is ok. I wouldn't think ethanol would cause a surging problem. If the O2 sensor carbons up then that can cause it to surge, if that is the case then after the O2 is replaced or cleaned then you can run Ring Free in gas to help keep carbon build up on rings and O2 sensor.

      I experianced the same surging problem, I used Gumout carburator cleaner as a last resort yesterday I sprayed it in the carb and let it sit overnight, then I sprayed it again just before I left for the ramp. it ran great today. No surging, stalling or rough running engine. We also run 10% enthanol here.
