fuel sender replacement

I own a 1997 27' contender. The fuel sender i believe is bad. Does anyone know where exactly the sender is? There is no access panel to this middle tank. I want to cut out an access panel but I want to make sure if I have enough clearance and where it is exactly located. I cant believe they put the sender under the floor with no access to it. Thanks
