Yamaha Fuel Hose Question

Does anyone know what the difference is between part #6Y2-24306-56-00 (115-300hp) and 6Y2-24306-05-00 (6-90hp)?

Larger fuel hose and primer bulb.

Would the typical after-market hoses with a 3/8"ID be an acceptable replacement for a 115hp motor ... or would it be better to stick with the OEM part?

The Yamaha primer bulb is better than the aftermarket ones I have seen but the aftermarket will work fine.
