Everyone,
I have 2 150 yamaha blocks. One has a bad hole, one has a bad crank. Making one out of two is the plan. The question in about the rods and pistons mixing and matching. The rods in both engines seem to be the same, 6R5-10 is the casting numbers. In one engine the rods have a "prefix" of the letter A, and in the other engine the "prefix" is B. Anyone know if the rods interchange?
Also, the pistons have a casting number that seems to be 64D02 in one engine and in the other engine the piston numbers are 64D01..
Any advice would be great.

One of the blocks is a 2004, the other block not sure of year model.
