Gearcase magnet 89 200

My plug that has the magnet is up top in the vent location. The one without the magnet is at the bottom og the gearcase. Is that OK?

The magnet needs to be in bottom drain hole and nonmagnet screw in top vent hole.

Already put boat in water....will it be OK?

It will work but the magnet does filter out loose metal from oil.
