tack

i;m new to the board,been looking around on the threads.very nice!!!
ok my problem is i have this analog tack part#6y5-83540-05-00 it came off a 70 yamaha don't know the yr.but i have a 2008 70 yamaha 2 stroke,this tack has 2 wires for the tack green and black,2 wires for the light blue and black.now will it work if not can you give me a part # for a analog tack. thanks,frank

That tach should work but you would need 6Y5-83653-10-00 Trim/Oil harness to operate oil level lights and 6Y5-83553-N0-00 Gauge power harness to connect to key switch.
